Well, the weekend is over. How does this happen? We had quite the busy weekend. We went to the Pumpkin Farm on Saturday. A good time was had by all. The kids got their arms painted, as opposted to "Face Painting" which was good b/c what they picked out, they don't have big enough cheeks for! Joey got a spiderweb, shocker! :) LOL Grace got a candy corn. They each picked out a painted pumpkin, Hello Kitty and Sponge Bob and I got two gords. Very cute in my living room might I add. We had lunch there, took a walk through the patch and the shops, listened to the music and Joey shook his fanny, it was so cute. By the time the day was over at the farm, the kids were full of sand and mud. We then went to my Dad's house, right from there for my step mother, Cathy's birthday. I made a chocolate cake and brought it over, everyone loved that and put Halloween sprikles on it which all three of the kids devoured right away!
Yesterday, we had yet another milestone in our family, Grace started Religious Education Instruction. She had a great time and came home with a Children's Bible, homework and a fundraising form. Honestly I feel over-fundraised these days. She had to sell raffle tickets for Irish Dance, no big deal, she had to collect pledges for the Walk-a-Thon at school, in which I do not ask for pledges from anyone except her Grandparents, now she's selling candles for Religion and then will be selling soy candles for school, so will Joey and Easter candy in the spring. This doesn't count all of the fundraisers for people that I work with that I'm asked to buy things from and family. It's ok though, in most cases the money goes to the school facilities and the committees, which is nice.
