October Antics

October is here and brings a ton of things in our families. My cousin Beth and I share a birthday, and even though she's 3,000 miles away I always think of her when I blow out my birthday candles, or in the case these days, when Grace and Joey blow them out for me! And I always make sure to include her in my well wishes. My Mom's best friend Carrie has a daughter Carly and Carly turned 16 yesterday, yes 16! Carly was one of the Flower Girl's in our wedding, then we have Joe's Aunt Anne Marie on the 8th I believe, Beth and I are the 9th, my Sister in Law Jody is the 10th, my Brother in Law Kevin is the 11th and my Uncle Tom is the 12th. You'd think we were done, huh? Nope! The 15th is Deirdre's birthday, my cousin Andrea's birthday is October 24th and I'm so sure I have a ton in between that I'm missing. October is a very full and busy month full of birthday's and celebrations, Aunt Judie and Uncle Michael, Grandma and Grandpa Robinson and Ryan and Jill all celebrate their Anniversaries. If my Grandfather were still alive and he and Grandmother would have been celebrating their Anniversary this coming Sunday.

So, this weekend is a busy weekend! We are celebrating my birthday and Uncle Tom's at my house. It's always fun to have dinner and cake and just celebrate, not only the occassion, but the fact that we're a family. We don't get to do that often enough on either side of the family. Then next weekend my Mother in Law is having us over for dinner at her house to celebrate, my, Jody and Kevin's birthday's. It should be a lot of fun just getting together to hang out!
