School Days, School Days............

Life is back to I can't even say "normal" because we're doing different things than we've ever done, we've had a great summer and are sad to see it end, however we have had a month of "Firsts" in our house! Grace graduated from Pre K in June and Joey went to daycare two days a week over the summer to get "his feet wet" in the whole school-type world. Grace started Kindergarden in September and loves it so far! Joey ended daycare just before Labor Day and then started his first day of Pre K 3 classes at a local Catholic School. Low and behold we got a call from the school Grace goes to, well downtown's Board of Ed, but anyways, telling us that Joey had in fact been accepted to their Pre K program, this is all day everyday. Joey's first day of Pre K 3 was very tearful for him, as were most days in daycare, so I was so afraid of what this might do to him. We had to send him though, because there was an 81 child waiting list to get into Grace's school and Joey was number 5 and got in! Therefore there would be no gurantees for next years Kindergarden class if we didn't send him this year, as there were't many available spots this year either. That being said, Joey had some tearful days as well, but has overcome and is now loving school............so far! :) LOL

We took the kids to Walt Disney World in Florida for a weekend two weeks ago, we had a blast. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and swam a lot! The weather was great, 92-94 and sunny everyday, which is much better than the time we had in April with the weather, where it poured rain every single day, thunder and lightening, the whole bit. Joe's poor parents made the trip in April with us and I couldn't have felt worse about the the way the weather was for their stay. Next time it will be better! We went to breakfast with Donald Duck, Daisey, Mickey Mouse and Goofy at Animal Kingdom's, Donald's Safari Breakfast, had lunch with Belle, Aurora, Alice in Wonderland, and Jasmine in Epcot's Norway at the Princess Storybook dining, and lunched at the Castle with Cinderella and Princess friends! We had an absolute great time, it was wonderful. Then we had to come back to reality! Which is ok sometimes.

Both kids start swim class this week, that should be so much fun! Grace takes a tap/ballet combo class again this year, different studio than in the past due to scheduling conflicts with her Irish Dancing, which she does as well this year. It is sure to be a fun and exciting year at our house.

We'll keep you posted as to what's happening and even try to get some pics uploaded for you to see.
