Let's see, this weekend has gone by so fast! Friday I took the day off and accompanied Grace's class to the Zoo. We had a blast. I along with Grace and two of her classmates/friends hit the Zoo, along with Nana. Daddy was scheduled to go and had a last minute urgent meeting come up so Nana took his place, which was soooooo nice of her! :) We saw the new Rainforest exhibit, which was awesome, I loved it, I can't wait to take Joey to see it, he'd love it in there and it rains in there as well, how fun!
Then we headed home and Mimi babysat and Joe and I went to dinner and an adult movie, yahoo, something that didn't have Disney in the title, which I love Disney, anyone who knows me knows that but to sit through a movie and not have to get up to go to the bathroom and listen to adults talk was great, hit the spot! Saturday morning we got up and headed to dance class with Grace, Mimi and Joey in tow. Once we were done there we went to Ally's house and followed her and her parents to an Apple Orchard in Albion, NY, we went Apple Picking, we had a blast! It was so much fun!!!! The kids has a lot of fun and so did the adults too! I went home with around 100 apples and made applesauce Saturday night, for four hours, yep, four hours, but it came out very yummy! Sunday we had breakfast with my Dad and Cathy and then I went shopping and Grace went Irish Dancing, then it was off to my in laws for dinner to celebrate my birthday, Jody's birthday and Kevin's birthday. (9,10,11, couldn't have planned it better if we tried!) Dinner was lovely, we had such a nice time and the food was great, my MIL made turkey, mmmmmmmmmm! We had cake and gifts as well. We had a very nice and fun weekend.
Now, the week starts, the kids are off school today and with Nana and Grandma, Joey's having asthma issues so he's at the doctor today with Nana having that looked at. We have another busy week/weekend ahead of us, but we are loving it. My house isn't loving it, lots of laundry to be done! Where are those fairies when you need them!
